FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in centrifugal pumps. Impeller comprises blades (1) uniformly distributed in circumferential direction with thickness bl and identical skeletons of profiles (2). Inlet edges (3) of blades (1) are located at distance Rin from axis of rotation, and output edges (4) - at distance Rout of axis of rotation. Working surfaces (5) form interbedded channels (6) with length Lch. On surfaces (5) there are made semi-cylindrical cut-outs (7) with radius rcut = 0.4bl, located with an indent from L0 = 0.25Lch from input edge (3) and interval Δ = 4rcut along the whole length Lch of inter- blade channel (6). L0 and interval Δ indentation dimensions depend on flow rate, angular speed of rotation, blade angle and pump head.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improvement of power and cavitation characteristics of a centrifugal pump, at the same time increasing efficiency, reducing consumed power and over-cavitation pressure.
