FIELD: chemical technology of polymer materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to artificial turf monofibers, methods of their production, as well as to systems containing monofibers of artificial turf. Monofilament (100) of artificial turf, each of which has irregular cross-section (110) along its length. Monofibers (100) are cut out of thermoplastic foil (200), having a non-planar shape.
EFFECT: invention provides improved appearance of artificial turf systems resembling real grass.
