Terminal device for fixing measurement results by a medical monitoring device comprises: an image capturing unit configured to capture an image of a medical monitoring device as an examination subject, a recognition unit configured to perform processing for recognizing a character string, which is a measurement value displayed on the display of the medical monitoring device, from an image of the medical monitoring device included in the captured image formed by the image capturing unit, a determination unit configured to determine whether a validity indicator is present, which is the recognition accuracy of each of the recognized symbols included in the recognized character string, which is the result of recognizing the character string, which is the displayed measurement value, lower than the first threshold value when the reliability of at least one of the recognized symbols is lower than the first threshold value, recognition unit further performs processing for recognizing a character string, which is a displayed measurement value, from each of N (N is an integer not less than 1) of captured images further formed by an image capturing unit, decision unit configured to set a recognized symbol with the highest recognition rate of at least one recognized symbol obtained by recognizing each symbol included in a symbol string, which is the displayed measurement value, based on the result of N + 1-fold recognition of the character string and determine the recognized character string consisting of the determined recognized symbol, as the measurement value by the medical monitoring device, and an output control unit configured to output a decision result received by the decision unit.

EFFECT: technical result of the proposed invention consists in improvement of measurement results due to elimination of errors.
