FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to restorative medicine, balneology and physiotherapy, and can be used for restorative treatment of patients with metabolic syndrome at a sanatorium-and-spa stage. It is followed with climatotherapy, hypocaloric diet therapy, health path, physical exercises, balneotherapy. As a balneotherapy therapeutic aqua-gymnastics is applied in a pool with sea water daily for 30 minutes for 18 days. Additionally, Polysorb preparation is prescribed in 1 tablespoon on a glass of warm water three times day 40 minutes before meals with course of 10 days. Individual and group psychotherapy is conducted in day of 10 sessions. Additionally prescribed is laser acupuncture treatments using the Lazmik apparatus at wavelength 635 nm, power density of 2 mW/cm2 daily course of 14 treatments, wherein the acupuncture points are selected individually taking into account the acupuncture diagnosis. If accompanied by arterial hypertension, the exposure is carried out on corporeal points on the meridian of heart C2, C5, C7, pericardium MC1, MC2, MC3 and MC5 with exposure of 20 seconds to each point and with addition of two auricular points according to Kenig, Wancura - 19 point of hypertension and 100 cardiac point, exposure 3 seconds per point. In the leading syndrome, diabetes mellitus is exposed to corporeal points on the spleen meridian - pancreas RP2, RP4, RP15, RP20, RP21 with exposure of 20 seconds to each point, with the addition of two auricular points according to Kenig, Wancura - 96 point of pancreas and 98 point of spleen, exposure of 3 seconds per point.

EFFECT: method provides higher effectiveness of restorative treatment of metabolic syndrome with minimal risk of side effects ensured by complex selection of procedures involving combined exposure on the main pathogenetic components of metabolic syndrome.
