SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to dietetics, physiotherapy and balneology and can be used for the rehabilitation of patients with metabolic syndrome. Climatotherapy is used, including sun and air baths and swimming in sea water, remedial gymnastics, terrenkur in the fresh air, dietary nutrition and the prescription of a herbal drug. As a herbal drug, "Fucoidan-100" is used, consisting of a mixture of Kombu powder of 0.990 g and Mecabu powder of 0.990 g, once in a daily dose of 1.980 g. The course is 19-22 days.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase the efficiency of the rehabilitation treatment of patients with metabolic syndrome due to the use of a complex of preventive procedures, including the intake of a herbal preparation "Fucoidan-100" obtained from seaweed.
