FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a liquid separator and a compressor plant comprising said separator. Liquid separator comprises housing (2), which is cylindrical wall (3), forming separation chamber (4), closed at one end (5) base (6), and on other end (7) cover (8), in which there is gas outlet branch pipe (14) for treated gas outlet. In separation chamber (4) there is screen (13) surrounding said gas outlet branch pipe (14) and extending from said cover (8). Liquid separator (1) comprises inlet (15) for treated gas-liquid mixture located in said cover (8) so that gas-liquid mixture is supplied into separation chamber (4) tangentially into space (28) between said wall (3) and said screen (13). Body wall (3) consists of cup (9) on which composite material (10) is applied or wound. External diameter of said cover (8) is less than outer diameter of cylindrical wall (3) of housing (2) and/or outer diameter of said base (6) is less than outer diameter of cylindrical wall (3) of housing (2). Composite material (10) is applied at least partially on or around said cover (8) and base (6).
EFFECT: technical result consists in creation of lighter, durable device, as well as provides strong connection of cylindrical wall with cover and/or base.
