FIELD: electric heating systems.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to electric heating systems used for transport pipelines in oil and gas industry. Electric heating system of pipeline (12) containing pipe (14) and heat insulation (7) around it, includes supply transformer (18), feeding boxes (22), end boxes (24), service boxes (26) located between supply and end boxes, medium voltage (30) connecting and end couplings, parameter monitoring and monitoring system, three heating resistive cables (8) connected to three phases (8a, 8b, 8c) of three-phase system power supply. Each resistive cable is placed inside a separate guide element (9a, 9b, 9c) fixed directly on the outer side of the pipe under its heat insulation (7). Screens of each resistive cable have intermediate and end grounding, and are also connected to each other at pipeline ends.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of extraction and use of normalized amount of heat for track heating of product in transport pipe at considerable distance (up to 200 km).
