FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for heating of viscous fluids, as well as for elimination and prevention of formation of deposits and plugs in pipelines (1) for various purposes, particularly directly in production wells. Heating elements (5) are made in form of two conducting plates (6, 7) separated by dielectric material (8) and coiled into a spiral, and are placed on pipeline with intervals defined temperature mode and transfer process. For each heating element further includes switch (4) connected to end of first and to beginning of second plate heating element. Induction heating system for long pipelines, realising said method comprises power source (2), control unit (3), heating elements (5) placed on pipeline (1). Heating elements are made in form of two conducting plates separated by a dielectric material coiled into a spiral arranged on pipeline with intervals defined by temperature mode and transfer process.

EFFECT: disclosed method and device make it possible to realise heating of long pipelines, increases controllability of process of heating and thermal efficiency.
