FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to converter devices. Electric power conversion device is equipped with housing (30), power module (4), smoothing capacitor (5) and section of high-voltage connection (8). Power module (4) is enclosed in housing (30). Smoothing capacitor (5) is attached to housing (30) by bolts (54) fixing capacitor and suppresses voltage fluctuations. Power module (4) and smoothing capacitor (5) are electrically connected at section of high-voltage connection (8). When places where smoothing capacitor (5) is attached to housing (30) by bolts (54) fixing capacitor, are points (9C) of condenser fixation, points (9C) of condenser fixation are located in positions which avoid angular parts (5a) of smoothing capacitor (5). Power module (4) and smoothing capacitor (5) are approximated to each other at high-voltage connection (8) section.

EFFECT: reduced dimensions of electric power conversion device.
