FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used for head positioning during sleep for preventing night cerebrovascular disorders, arterial-venous hypervolemia and strokes in hypertensive patients. Patient is placed in the horizontal position lying on the back at night with the head elevation at 25–35 degrees from the horizontal plane by placing at least two pillows on each other. Upper edge of the cushion is placed at the level of the thumb of the straightened hand placed on the mattress near the cushion. Distal edge of the lower cushion should reach the middle of the blades.
EFFECT: method provides preventing night cerebrovascular disorders, arterial-venous hypervolemia and strokes in hypertensive individuals, prevents redistribution of blood to the upper body and head by positioning the head during sleep.
