FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves examining cerebral and hepatic hemodynamics. Transcranial dopplerography and ultrasonic duplex scanning are concurrently carried out during acute stage of the disease. Blood circulation intensity is recorded in the drainage basin of the hepatic and middle meningeal artery. Cerebrorenal index is calculated. Its value being greater than 0.9, probable development of cerebral pathologic phenomena is predicted. The value being less than 0.9, the mentioned pathologic phenomenon is considered not to take place. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of the method.
