SUBSTANCE: described is recombinant swinepox virus (rSPV), suitable for use in pigs, containing at least one first sequence of foreign genes in its genome, wherein said first sequence of foreign genes is introduced into the gene of IL-18-binding protein (IL18bp) of the rSPV genome and where the foreign gene sequence encodes a molecule selected from an antigen, an adjuvant, a cytokine, lymphokine, growth factor, enzyme or label.
