FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mining and blasting, in particular, to drilling, more precisely, to methods of expansion of small-diameter wells and can be used in performance of works in complex mining conditions. Method of well expansion includes drilling of pilot central well, drilling of additional wells around it, arrangement of explosive charges in additional wells and their blasting. Mass of explosive charges in each additional well is selected so that their explosion causes cracking along the line "pilot well - additional well" without destruction of rock. Explosive charge is placed in the pilot central well and explosive substance is blasted in it, then the well is cleaned from the formed pieces of rock and dust particles.
EFFECT: enabling expansion of the well to the specified diameter in cramped conditions without drilling equipment and with provision of its functional purpose.
