SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to oncology, and can be used for treating the patients with recurrent thoracic esophagus cancer in esophageal-gastric anastomosis. Simultaneously, a double course of radiation and chemotherapy is conducted. A radiation therapy is conducted in the mode of a split course with a single basic dose daily 5 times a week with an interval between courses of 2–3 weeks. A recurrent esophageal tumor with subclinical submucosal areas is covered by irradiation zone 4–6 cm larger than the X-ray-determined tumor boundaries, as well as regional metastasis regions at a source-focus-tumor distance of 75 cm. If the upper esophageal involvement is exposed to one anterior field with the increased single basic dose. When the total focal dose of 40–45 Gy is reached, the radiation field boundary is increased by 2–3 cm. Chemotherapy is performed 2 hours before daily irradiation with oxaliplatin on 1st day of each course of radiation therapy, leucovorin + 5-fluoruracil from the first to the fifth days, bevacizumab once a week.

EFFECT: method provides higher survival rate of patients with recurrent thoracic esophagus cancer due to a combination of radiation and polychemotherapy.
