FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device includes a system of electrodes, sensors of presence of fish in the protection zone, acoustic and optical radiators, electric, acoustic and optical pulses generators, control unit of repetition frequencies and amplitude of pulses, made with possibility of pulse formation blocking, switchboard for distribution of electric pulses by electrodes, acoustic pulses by acoustic radiators, optical pulses by optical emitters. Optical pulses simulate glares created by underwater predators, acoustic pulses simulate sounds emitted by predators, and pseudo-random sequences of current pulses are formed on electrodes.
EFFECT: invention ensures reduction of energy consumption when protecting fish from getting into water intake.
