FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of food industry, in particular, to a method for production of disposable tableware completely decomposed in ambient conditions. Method is characterized by that biodecomposed mass is represented by zoogloea of tea fungus grown by way of incubation under aerobic conditions on a nutrient medium at room temperature. Produced zoogloea is removed from nutrient medium, dried first at room temperature to slightly moist condition and then one-time dishes are made by moulding. Nutritional medium is represented by a sugar-containing product solution in tea infusion. Disposable tableware is moulded by placing zoogloea into a mould. Extra parts of zoogloea are cut off and utensils are dried till complete hardening at room temperature for 7 to 30 days.
EFFECT: use of the invention will make it possible to manufacture biodegradable disposable utensils out of cheap and affordable material without large power inputs, and also to expand the range of disposable utensils.
