FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for production of a base of biodegradable coating based on methylcellulose and tea fungus, and can be used for cosmetic and medical purposes, for example as masks for skin or medical dressings for reconstructive surgery, tissue regeneration and packaging materials. Initial components are prepared for the method for production of the biodegradable coating base, then methylcellulose as a colloid gel obtained by maintaining a 3-5% aqueous solution of methylcellulose at a temperature of 50 to 60°C for 1.5-2.0 h, is mixed with a reagent for rheology modification represented by gelatin, a plasticiser represented by glycerin, and an antibacterial reagent, then the resulting mixture is mixed and placed on plates, followed by drying, cutting and packing. Tea fungus zooglea is used as an antibacterial reagent, which is pre-conditioned for 10-12 days in the culture liquid, then the tea fungus zooglea is homogenized until a homogeneous mass is obtained, autoclaved for 15-20 minutes at a temperature of 120-125°C at a homogenate pH of 2.8-3.2, and the reagent for rheological characteristics modification, represented by gelatin, is maintained for 55-60 minutes at a temperature of +(20-25)°C, then placed on a water bath at a temperature of +(65-70)°C till complete dissolution, followed by gradual addition of components to the mixer at the following ratio of components in wt %: tea fungus 43.0-45.0, methylcellulose 0.5,-0.7, gelatin 0.1-0.2, glycerin 1.7-1.9, distilled water - the rest, stirring at a rotation speed of 300-400 rpm for 10-15 minutes until a homogeneous gel-like mass is obtained and freezing at a temperature of (49-45)°C for 5-7 hours before drying.
EFFECT: simplification and reduction in the cost of production of the biodegradable coating base.
