FIELD: water and air purification technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for producing fresh water from water vapors contained in ambient air, and can be used to produce fresh water mainly in the coastal regions with the seas. Device consists of container with open top submerged into water reservoir with sea water so, that its walls extend beyond surface of water, at that upper edge of reservoir is equipped with caps to prevent ingress of splashes from sea waves, which are directed to center of container at an angle to horizontal plane. Inside container there is through passage for sea water flow, located between two opposite walls of container and arranged so that one end of channel is located near water surface, and other is lower with inclination, which is within 20–45°. Path in the cross section has the shape of a triangle, the base of which faces the bottom of the vessel, and the vertex—to the surface of the water reservoir. Length of base of triangle is less than width of container in direction perpendicular to arrangement of path. Angle between lateral ribs of the triangle is within 90–140°. Above the path there is a solar collector fixed on the side surfaces of the container, having through holes in the vertical direction, arranged so that between its lower surface and upper surface of path there is an air gap. In close proximity to the above end of the channel in seawater there is a wave energy converter made, for example, in the form of "Salter's duck". Wave energy converter is attached from the outside to the side surface of the container by means of a fastening device. Fresh water vessel is located at reservoir bottom. Container location at the water body surface is ensured by the floats.

EFFECT: invention eliminates the risk of ingress of sea water into a vessel with fresh water, and also increases the degree of air heating above the surface of the path—a moisture condensation zone.
