FIELD: devices for fire extinguishing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices designed to extinguish bottom fires with soil, as well as for laying of protective mineralized strips, especially in anhydrous massifs. Forest fire-fighting soil-thrower comprises a frame, a working member with a thrower cutter, a drive, a guiding jacket. According to the invention, on the device frame there is a motor connected to the bevel gear speed reducer on the output shafts, which drive wheels are mounted on one side, and on the other, a thrower and a toothed cross-shaped ripper, wherein the motor, the thrower and the ripper are installed with the possibility of changing the position in the vertical plane.

EFFECT: use of the proposed invention allows improving operating parameters when laying protective mineralized strips and extinguishing of ground fires with soil in conditions of soils, saturated with roots of wood and shrubby vegetation and compacted cohesive soils.
