SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a method of producing tobacco extract, involving: (a) contacting the tobacco with the extraction solvent such that the tobacco components are extracted from the tobacco into the solvent, wherein the extraction solvent contains a supercritical fluid; (b) separating residual dry tobacco substances from the extraction solvent containing the tobacco components; (c) providing the entrapping solvent in the vessel, exposing the extraction solvent containing the tobacco components, such conditions in said vessel, at which solvent for extraction is subcritical, in order to release tobacco components from solvent for extraction; wherein trapping solvent dissolves tobacco components released from solvent for extraction.

EFFECT: disclosed is a method for producing tobacco extract.
