FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiology, obstetrics. That is followed by a treadmill test, wherein the criterion for terminating physical activity is the first event of the series: reaching 4th level of perceiving intensity of physical activity on the Borg scale; achieving 80 % of calculated maximum heart rate, determined by formula 220 minus age in years; progression of ventricular arrhythmia. Then, the treadmill test is repeated 60–90 min after single ingestion β-AB of short action - propranolol in an average single dose of 40 mg. If the number and complexity of the ventricular arrhythmia is reduced, the antiarrhythmic efficacy β-AB. If observing the retention or progression of the ventricular arrhythmia, the absence of antiarrhythmic efficacy β-AB.
EFFECT: method enables predicting antiarrhythmic effectiveness β-AB in pregnant women with high-grade ventricular arrhythmias without a structural pathology of the heart.
