FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to pathological anatomy, transplantology, and can be used for early diagnosis of transplant rejection. Invention involves using an immunohistochemical examination, photographing a histological section of a transplanted organ fragment, determining the indices by a computer. Photograph shows T and B cells lymphocytes, macrophages and complement components C3d and C4d. Total area of the cut (S), the total area of the detected cells and complement components (m), is determined on the computer using the "manual extraction" tool and if the average density of the detected cells and complement components is 1 mm² in %: K = (m/S)⋅100 %, up to 0.9 %, absence of rejection is determined, 1.0–2.9 % – easy rejection, 3.0–5.0 % – moderate rejection and at a value of more than 5.0 % – severe rejection.

EFFECT: method enables early diagnosis of transplanted organ rejection by immunohistochemical examination, reduced time required for diagnosing rejection reaction by using a computer program, reducing the number of subjective errors and improving diagnostic accuracy due automated photo processing.
