FIELD: petroleum chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to petrochemistry and can be used to produce a synthetic sulphonate additive of different level of alkalinity to engine oils using linear dialkylbenzenes with molecular weight of 240–320 as raw material.
EFFECT: obtained additive is characterized by constancy of hydrocarbon composition and structure, is low-viscosity with high colloidal stability and stability in long-term storage conditions; has high detergent and neutralizing properties; variation of available raw components provides regulation of active substance concentration.
