FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to battery packs in battery-powered devices. It is achieved by the fact that electronic device is configured with subunits including system logic board, flexible printed circuit and dual accumulator units, which are assembled together by means of electric connectors, in order to enable the power from the storage units to flow through the power bus, which is distributed along flexible printed circuit and system logic board. Protection circuit module (PCM) in each battery pack is configured to determine the state of each of the connections between subnodes such that power from the battery packs is switched to the power bus only when electrical continuity is verified in each of the connectors. In case any connection is faulty, for example, due to incorrect alignment of connector during assembly, which prevents electrical continuity through connector, none of PCM should switch power to bus.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability of accumulator unit in device with storage battery.
