FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical communication systems. To achieve technical result in device for optical subassembly (OSA) device includes body of housing unit and fixing nut, first end of which is inserted into first cavity of body of housing unit. Proposed device comprises transistor type (TO) housing with its first end inserted into body of housing unit second cavity. Besides, the device includes an optical fiber, at the same time part of the shell is removed from the end of the optical fiber, which provides opening of the bare optical fiber on the end of the optical fiber. End of the optical fiber is inserted into the second end of the fixing nut so that the bare optical fiber passes into the body of the housing unit, and at least a part of the exposed optical fiber is inserted into the cavity of the TO-type body.
EFFECT: improved reliability of the device.
