FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of optical-mechanical instrument-making, namely to devices for adjustment of optical elements, and can be used in devices for determining geometrical parameters of an object using a video camera, particularly in devices for biometric identification by hand geometry. Device has a surface for placing an object, a mirror fixed in the holder, and a video camera mounted on the platform, as well as a frame, a carriage, a movement mechanism and a mechanism for setting angles. Frame is installed perpendicular to the surface to accommodate the object with a carriage fixed thereon with the possibility of moving perpendicular to the object location surface. Platform is fixed on frame with possibility of rotation around axis parallel to surface for arrangement of object and frame, and perpendicular to optical axis of video camera, angles setting mechanism made in the form of a system of levers and tie-rods connecting the holder, carriage and platform so that the optical axis of the video camera crosses the axis of rotation of the holder, and the bisector of the angle between the plane passing through the axis of rotation of the holder perpendicular to the surface for arranging the object and the plane passing through the axis of rotation of the holder and the optical axis of the video camera coincides with the plane passing through the axis of rotation of the holder perpendicular to the reflecting surface of the mirror.
EFFECT: technical result consists in minimization of labor intensity of control of length of light beam path from video camera to observed object.
