FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: readout device is intended to identify spent fuel assemblies (SFA) stored in water storage tank and intended for further storage or utilisation. Movable readout device contains light framework made from light-protective material. Two colour video cameras equally spaced in vertical direction relative to each other, lighting devices installed at an angle, are fixed on the framework. Angle provides the direction of light flows to the readout section and independent controlled power supply unit. Control is performed from remote picture processing equipment by means of wire or wireless communication line, for example through modem which is structurally combined with power supply unit.
EFFECT: reducing labour input of operator and improving readout reliability of number of SFA damaged during operation.
