Present invention relates to electric power supply method at point of connection to network (118) to power supply network (120, 300), having network frequency, by means of converter controlled generator unit (100), in particular, wind power plant (100), wherein the method includes the following steps: electric power supply depending on the control function, wherein electric power can contain active and reactive power, and as a control function, a selection can be made between a normal control function and at least one control function with frequency maintenance different from the normal control function, and said normal control function is selected, if it was determined that power supply network (120, 300) is operating in normal state, and control function with frequency maintenance is selected, if operating state with steady-state frequency is or is being prepared, wherein operating state with steady-state frequency describes operating state, in particular, power supply network (120, 300), in which network frequency must be maintained at constant value.

EFFECT: enabling network stabilization, particularly when connecting parts of a network during network restoration, even at high proportion of generator units controlled in the network.
