SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric engineering, in particular to the methods of electric power input into the power supply network. Technical result is achieved by the fact that for input of electric power it is possible to select at least between operating mode with current excitation and operating mode with voltage excitation, and wherein in operating mode with current excitation, control or adjustment is performed to rated current value, and in operating mode with voltage generation, voltage is controlled or controlled for rated value, and wherein current operating mode can vary between operating mode with current excitation and operating mode with voltage generation in several steps or with smooth transition, and wherein a mixed operating mode which, in particular, has or can respectively combine a current excitation property and a voltage excitation property can be set.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of network support and stabilization of network by means of converter-controlled input devices.
