SUBSTANCE: according to the method of controlling power supply to power supply network (330) of generator unit (300), generator unit (300) supplies power to network (300) of power supply by means of one or more converters or inverters (302). Method is provided for recording disconnection from network or formation of isolated network and includes the following stages: control of energy supply by energy supply control device (334), which operates with at least one current control, recording at least one current control deviation, checking the detected current control deviation for deviation from a predetermined reference range and detecting disconnection from the network, at which an isolated network separated from the power supply network arises, to which generator unit (300) is connected, if a deviation from the predetermined reference range has been detected.
EFFECT: technical result is faster operation and reliability of detecting formation of an isolated network.
