FIELD: lubricants.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a lubricating oil composition for internal combustion engines. Lubricating oil compositions for internal combustion engines contains molybdenum dithiocarbamate (DTC-Mo), polyalkylene glycol (PAG) and base oil, wherein the average molecular weight of the polyalkylene glycol is 2750–4500 and the content of the polyalkylene glycol is not less than 0.05 wt % and less than 10 wt % with respect to total weight of composition.
EFFECT: technical result is reduced friction and fuel efficiency in internal combustion engines both in equipped with DLC (diamond-like carbon), and in lubrication system without DLC.
