FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of pylons for attachment of jet engines of aircrafts. Pylon for attachment of jet engine (10) to aircraft wing (12) comprises multiple engine attachment assemblies (316) and truss (600) in form of spatial frame, suspended on wing (12). Farm (600) comprises front part (602) and rear part (604). Rear part (604) is connected to front part (602), front part (602) is connected to assemblies (316) of engine attachment and supports them, and rear part (604) passes upwards and backwards from rear end of front part (602). Rear part (604) comprises lower frame (650) having a rear end, an upper frame having a rear end, and a U-shaped rear frame, located on rear end of rear part (604) and connecting rear end of lower frame (650) with rear end of upper frame. Upper frame comprises a rectangular frame, an upper skin forming an X-shaped pattern extending between diagonal angles of said rectangular frame and a pair of stiffness elements, located on upper skin surface and forming a cross extending between diagonal angles of said rectangular frame.
EFFECT: reduced resistance and associated fuel consumption.
