FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to creation of toxic agent simulators and specifically concerns imitators of toxic organophosphorous substances. Invention describes application of triethanolamine as imitator of fluorescent properties of poisonous substance O-ethyl-S-2-diisopropylaminoethyl methylphosphonate (DPAEMP) for simulation of indication effect when analyzing samples by instruments based on spectrometric analysis method. Invention provides imitation of highly toxic chemical substance, fluorescence effect and, as a result, provides for performance and performance check of instruments based on spectrometric analysis method and operating in ultraviolet range of wavelengths. Triethanolamine simulates the spectral path of fluorescence DPAEMP in a given wavelength range. Indication effect is achieved by recording secondary radiation of triethanolamine when the substance is exposed to electromagnetic radiation in the ultraviolet range of the spectrum, having similar to DPAEMP fluorescence intensity in a given wavelength range λ=400–500 nm.
EFFECT: proposed simulator will make it possible to exclude the exposure of highly-toxic chemicals to the personnel when performing work performance and performance-and-technical characteristics of instruments based on the spectrometric analysis method and operating in the ultraviolet wavelength range.
