FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device and a method for electrodeionisation of a liquid. Device comprises anode chamber having two holes and anode, cathode chamber having two holes and cathode, processing chamber located between anode and cathode chambers, having two holes and ion-exchange resin, wherein the anode and cathode chambers are separated from the membrane processing chamber with selective permeability, and an energy source functionally connected to the anode and cathode. In one embodiment, the treatment chamber is hydraulically functionally connected to the cathode chamber, and the cathode chamber is hydraulically functionally connected to the anode chamber. Method comprises application of voltage to anode and cathode, partial flow of analysed liquid through partially filled with ion-exchange resin treatment chamber substantially in direction of gravity, partial flow of analysed liquid through anode chamber against direction of gravity, partial flow of analysed liquid through cathode chamber against direction of gravity.
EFFECT: invention provides reliable and improved electrodeionisation.
