FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electromechanical mandrelling. Mandrel is moved along the hole axis of the part with smooth change of density of electric current passed through the mandrel contact point with the surface of the part hole and formation of hardened annular sections with different hardness on the surface of its opening. From the moment of mandrel movement beginning along the hole, rotary motion is simultaneously with translational imparted to it.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of hole processing.
