FIELD: land vehicles for travelling otherwise than on rails.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to trackless vehicles and is intended for use in designs of single-axle car and tractor trailers. Trailer braking system comprises two main braking cylinders connected by separate hydraulic lines with trailer wheels working braking cylinders, at that, housings of the main brake cylinders are located in the horizontal plane symmetrically – on the left and on the right along the road train movement relative to the longitudinal axis of the trailer and are fixed by means of ball joints at the ends of the horizontal axis of the cross-piece connecting the tractor and the trailer, and the main brake cylinder rod ends are fixed in the slots made on the side surfaces of the external link of the traction lever with the possibility of longitudinal movement relative to this link.
EFFECT: possibility of recovering the position of a single-axle trailer, which corresponds to the straight-line movement of the tractor, with transverse lateral vibrations of the trailer due to formation of power moment relative to point of coupling of tractor with trailer, which occurs from friction forces between road and braked wheel, which is closest to trailer deflection pole, which increases stability of straight-line movement of road train and its safety under operating conditions.
