FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: matrix power transformer system contains multiple block assemblies, each of which contains multiple transformer modules. Each transformer module comprises a primary winding connected to the input and a secondary winding connected to the output. Inputs of all transformer modules in one block assembly are connected together and outputs of transformer units are connected together. One of secondary windings includes several taps made with possibility of selective connection with output of associated transformer modular assembly or with other secondary winding of said associated modular assembly.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increase in the reliability.
