FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to measurement of parameters of electric signals. System and a method are proposed for determining the value of amplitude (A) and value of phase delay (F) related to the measured signal (s(t)). System includes synthesis unit (1), comparator (130), latch register (140), computing unit (3). To determine parameters, phase signal value (ψk) of control signal (r(t)) is read out and transmitted to computing unit (3), at which said measured signal becomes larger or smaller than said control signal. Computing unit determines amplitude and phase delay values based on said read phase values. Calculation is carried out using a system of affine equations, having for the in-phase amplitude (X) and for the quadrature amplitude (Y) of the measured signal (s(t)) coefficients which depend on the selected values (ψk) of the phase of the control signal (r(t)). System can be implemented economically, in particular, by means of ASIC scheme or FGPA scheme.

EFFECT: technical result is optimization of design and high accuracy of measurements.
