SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and agriculture and concerns a new strain as a base for producing biopreparations for growing agricultural products. New strain B. subtilis B-94 VIZR, having high antagonist activity on phytopathogenic fungi and bacteria, is promising as a producer of a biopreparation for protection of potatoes against diseases during vegetation and storage of tubers, increased yield and improved quality of tubers. B. subtilis B-94 VIZR strain is deposited in the VIZR Collection, is active against alternaria, phytophthora and rhizoctonia. Biological efficiency of strain in vegetation period in relation to complex of diseases makes 60–70 %.
EFFECT: use of the strain significantly improves consumer quality of tubers during storage.
