FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of operating a wind-driven power plant for generating electrical power from wind, besides, this wind-driven power plant includes aerodynamic rotor with rotor blades controlled by their angle of installation, and this rotor can be operated with variable rotor speed. Further, this wind-driven power plant comprises a generator connected to the aerodynamic rotor to generate output power. At that, in partial load mode, in which wind is so weak that wind-driven power plant cannot be operated with its maximum output power, this output power is adjusted depending on wind parameters, determining current density of wind air, and each angle of blade installation is adjusted depending on rotor rotation frequency and depending on determined air density. Besides, this invention relates to wind-driven power plant.
EFFECT: invention discloses a wind-driven power plant and a method of operating a wind-driven power plant.
