SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a control method of a wind-driven power plant and to a wind-driven power plant. The control method of the wind-driven power plant connected to electric mains, comprising a generator with an aerodynamic rotor with adjustable rotation speed involves an operation stage of the wind-driven power plant at an optimum operating point relative to predominant wind conditions with an optimum rotation speed and an operation stage of the wind-driven power plant at transient period of time or continuously at a non-optimum operating point with a non-optimum rotation speed. Non-optimum rotation speed is higher than optimum rotation speed.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at improvement of maintenance of electric mains.
