SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworking industry, in particular, to hydrophobic and antiseptic protection of wood. Composition for wood hydrophobisation, which is a hydrophobisating antiseptic composition, includes oil bitumen, spent motor mineral oil obtained from base distillate oil, and technical paraffin in following ratio of components of composition, wt%: oil bitumen – 70, technical paraffin – 10–20, used motor mineral oil – 10–20.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of wood protection against wood-destroying mushrooms and microorganisms, reduced swelling, water and moisture absorption.
