FIELD: furnaces and ovens.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to units for production of foam-glass plates and blocks from volcanic and artificial glass. Unit contains a shuttle furnace with two tier heating system and a transport system made in the form of a bottom consisting of 2–3 laminated supports. Supports are connected to each other by means of half-tubes or sets of metal plates, which form bottom platform. Unit also contains moulds consisting of at least 9 cells. Between cells of moulds, transversely to axis of furnace, passages are made, which narrow from bottom to top. Lamellar plates of furnace bottom are intermittent along lower circuit and connected by tubes and metal plates with thickness of 3 mm. Between sections of platform there are passages coinciding with passes made between cells of moulds.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to improve the furnace thermal system to increase its efficiency, reduce specific fuel consumption by reducing the time for heaving of foam-glass plates and blocks to three times.
