FIELD: machine building; physics.

SUBSTANCE: follow-up mechanism for a bogie with variable track width, wherein said mechanism comprises follow-up connector (1), unlocking elements (2, 3), located on two sides of follow-up connector (1) and movably connected to follow-up connector (1), device for recognition of transverse displacement, movably connected to unlocking elements (2, 3), gear blocking and positioning device installed on follow-up connector (1), and at least two mutually parallel elements (4, 5) of attachment. Follow-up connector (1) is in sliding fit with fastening elements (4, 5), ends of unblocking elements (2, 3) are rigidly connected to sliding elements (201, 301), and gear blocking and positioning device is movably connected to transverse displacement recognition device and fastening elements (4, 5) respectively. Brake support unit comprises fastening bracket (12), follow-up mechanism and brake drive (13) installed on mounting bracket (12), follow-up mechanism (1) is installed together with braking drive (13), and fastening elements (4, 5) are fixedly mounted on mounting bracket (12). Brake support unit can automatically detect variable track width of train, moving relative to wheel under action of elastic force stored by follow-up mechanism, and by means of unlocking elements, and can be self-locked in target track width position, thereby realizing position change. Also, there is a brake support unit for a bogie with variable track width, wherein said unit comprises described follow-up mechanism.

EFFECT: simplification of adaptation of braking device on wheels to change in wheels.
