FIELD: automotive tires.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive pneumatic passenger tires of radial design, maximum load of which does not exceed 750 kg and conditional profile width is not less than 225 mm, as well as for all passenger tires, maximum load of which is more than 750 kg, rubber-coated breaker bracelet of which consists of two layers of rubberized metal cord, applied cross-wise on each other, and one or two layers of textile layer. Tire is characterized by application in breaker bracelet of two layers of rubberized metal cord of ZLZONT structure, cut at angle of 20–25° and superimposed cross-wise, with thickness of rubberized layer of metal cord (1.1÷1.2)±0.03 mm, metal cord diameter is 0.75÷0.03 mm, metal cord linear density 1.57–1.77 g/m and metal cord breaking force as a whole of not less than 615 N, metal cord pitch in finished tire 1.05–1.2. Metal cord is made from metal threads of high strength of identical diameter of 0.3 mm with brass coating with weight of 3.4±0.8 g/kg and copper weight fraction in brass coating 63±2.5 %, twisted among themselves on type "S" with pitch of 13–15 mm, with bonding strength of metal cord breaker with production rubber mixture of not less than 368 N/12.5 mm. Ratio of diameter of metal thread to diameter of metal cord makes 0.4.

EFFECT: higher overall performance of the pneumatic tire, as well as lower rolling resistance coefficient of the tire.
