FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerospace engineering. Basic ground-based technical complex for assembly and pre-flight preparation of space rockets (SR) and a coastal offshore base for parking space launch vehicle carriers of air launch vehicles and surface-effect airborne ships of space launch vehicles of ground launch. SR with air start is delivered to the launch site by means of heavy surface-effect airborne ships-carriers. SR with ground launching is launched in near-equatorial zone from launcher on offshore platform of mobile start-and-refuelling complex (MSRC), where they are quickly delivered in uncontrolled state aboard said surface-effect airborne ships-carrier. MSRC are also used for fuelling with SR fuel components with air start on surface-effect airborne ships-carriers when they need to be launched in the equatorial zone. Carrier screen with filled SR in transport-launching container rises to height of 6–8 km at the minimum distance from MSRC, SR airborne landing and SR airborne launching.
EFFECT: technical result of invention is to increase carrying capacity of SR, avoiding the need to allocate large areas of land for exclusion zones.
