FIELD: radio equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for carrying out high-frequency (HF) tests of on-board retransmitting systems (OBRS), particularly to circuit solutions for connection of process equipment to transponders of Q/Ka band radio signals. Losses in process equipment are measured automatically using CalPod at each measurement of HF characteristics, and reduction of SWR in input process equipment from output of input matrix of control-checking equipment (CCE) to input to OBRS is due to use of insulators.

EFFECT: high accuracy of measuring high-frequency characteristics due to taking into account losses during laying of tooling, as well as shorter time for measuring losses in process equipment.
