METHOD FOR SENILE RETINOSCHISIS TREATMENT USING NAVILAS 577S NAVIGATION LASER UNIT Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61F9/08

Abstract RU 2729928 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used in treating flat senile retinoschisis (SR). Navilas 577s navigation laser unit (NLU) is exposed to laser radiation. Colour photorecording of the ocular fundus is carried out; a treatment plan in the form of a pattern of stains of the specified diameter is applied on the obtained image along the entire surface of the SR; Using the eraser function, the treatment plan is adjusted by leaving the laser exposed areas along the vessels on both sides from the beginning of the PC to the periphery throughout the entire vessel visualization without affecting the surface of the vessels. Thereafter, applicants are applied on selected areas in one pattern 2 × 2 with distance between applicants 0.25 of diameter of applicator with power of 180 to 260 mWt, exposure of 0.02–0.03 s for each applicator, diameter of spot 215 mcm or 235 mcm.

EFFECT: method enables reducing the length of operation, ensuring accuracy of application of applicants on the zones of maximum traction, reducing traumatic effect on the retina, reducing the intensity of undesirable energy effect of laser energy on intraocular structures, reducing the risk of developing complications.
