FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of protection of populated areas against exposure to extraneous acoustic noise. Noise protection panel comprises a housing made as a single part, formed by a front working surface, a rear surface, one horizontal surface with locking trapezoid ledge along entire length of panel and one horizontal surface with locking trapezoidal groove along entire length of panel. Sound-absorbing filler is arranged inside the housing. Vertical end covers close the housing ends. Housing is made from fiberglass. Front working surface of housing is made in form of alternating horizontal radius or arc ledges and recesses formed longitudinally along entire length of panel. Moisture-resistant mineral wool is used as a sound-absorbing filler. Vertical end covers on the outer side have a shape ensuring their tight attachment to the screen post. End covers have recesses or holes for moisture removal from panel housing.
EFFECT: improved noise-proof properties and reliability of panels.
