FIELD: fire equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire equipment, in particular, to fire hose nozzles. Fire hose nozzle comprises a receiving body with pressure branch pipes and a rotary T-piece equipped with a universal water-foam nozzle made in the form of a confuser-diffuser branch pipe. According to the invention, the inner part of the branch pipe is made in the form of a single-band hyperboloid of revolution, wherein the ratio of the diameter of the neck to the diameter of the confusor is d/Dk = (0.45–0.55), and ratio of diameter of neck to diameter of diffuser d/Dd = (0.35–0.45), length of confusor is Lcon = (1.8–2.2)d, and length of diffuser Ldif = (8.0–8.5)d of diameter of branch pipe neck.
EFFECT: reduced hydraulic resistance of the air-foam nozzle, increased speed of the working fluid flow, increased range of supply of the working fluid to the zone of fire extinguishing or cooling of the object.
